Christmas at KEC

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:11)

The Christmas journeys of Mary, Joseph, the Angels, the Shepherds and the Wise Men are all part of the Christmas story. But the greatest journey of all was the one that Jesus took in coming to earth as a tiny baby.

The Bible describes it like this – ‘The Word became flesh and dwelt among us… full of grace and truth’. (John 1:14)

The birth of the Lord Jesus Christ was an amazing event. The time when God would come to save His people had finally arrived and nothing would be the same again. In the birth of Jesus a new dawn of salvation breaks which is worth celebrating 2,000 years later. No one who turns to God through Jesus is excluded. This is good news for everyone!
