Covid-19 Rules at KEC.

Kensit Evangelical Church is determined to operate in a way that is responsible, appropriate and safe for all those who wish to worship and will take all the sensible precautions to manage risk and support its members and attendees. Although the government lifted some key restrictions on 27th January, places of worship are still advised to apply caution to reduce the risk of transmission which approach we will continue taking for the safety of everyone.

  • There are no longer limits on the number of people you can meet.
  • There are no legal restrictions on the number of people that can attend a place of worship.
  • Legal requirements for social distancing no longer apply and you will not need to stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with. However, seating in the church will remain the same, which means that chairs will still be spaced out and we will continue to ensure as much ventilation as practicable.
  • There is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering. The government suggests that you continue to wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you may come into contact with other people you do not normally meet.
  • There will be no limits on the number of people who can sing or perform indoors or outdoors. However, congregants may wish to adopt a cautious approach and continue wearing a face covering whilst singing if they prefer to do so.
  • We will continue to provide hand sanitisers and antibacterial wipes, and the church will continue to be regularly cleaned.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
