Yesterday I visited three leadership clubs. Effiduasi DA B JHS, Effiduasi DEMO JHS, and Effiduasi Presby Nsutem JHS. Effiduasi DEMO and Effiduasi DA were my first time of meeting with them. I talked to them on, “ Who Is A True Leader”. While I talked on, “ Three Qualities Of A Leader ,” because I met them last week.
All my meetings with them was such a blessing, I praise the Lord.

I visited Effiduasi Demo DA JHS yesterday.
I only talked to the Form one student, from Matthew21:28-31. I stressed on three main points, 1. Obedience is better than promise 2. You can Change After Making A Wrong Decision. 3. Saying sorry is Not Enough.
I had the opportunity to establish a leadership club at this school. The teacher leader here is called Mr. Tony. Tony is a strong believer who loves the Lord and the things of God. Esther visited Perry Hayford in Takoradi. She talked on Communing with God in the morning, from Exodus 33:9.
Rahamatu visited Nkroful MA JHS in the afternoon for the leadership club. She talked with the children on “Self-discovery “. She taught the children how they could discover themselves, the need to find who they are and this happens when they discover their identity, purpose and calling in Christ. She gave them Self-discovery assignment which would help these children identify themselves individually.

PLEASE PRAY FOR:

  • We praise God for giving us willing teacher leaders for the clubs.
  • Those who have come to faith to grow in grace and in knowledge of the Lord.
  • A peaceful installation of the new Chief of Effiduasi Ashanti.
  • We thank the Lord for the elders of the Church, who have been a blessing to the Church.

Comfort, Ramat and Esther are the only volunteers at Takoradi outreach to the schools. I thank the Lord for their lives and help they provide at the schools. Two weeks ago Comfort was in Effiduasi Ashanti Region and she visited Effiduasi Demo DA JHS. Her message was from Psalm 1. She is now in Takoradi, last week she was down with malaria, but thank God she is well. Ramat had the privilege in these two weeks to visit Tanokrom JHS and Rev. Cobbah Yalley JHS. Her message was Joshua 1:9. She talked about being strong and courageous in every situation we face, and knowing that God is with us through it all. This Wednesday she went to Ntankoful JHS. Esther visited Crusaders JHS and DR. Wilkle JHS on Wednesdays. Her message was from John 1:29, “Jesus Christ who takes the sin of the world.”
The club is to inspire, shape, and mold them into responsible adults and future leaders who know the Lord.
Since I have been here in Effiduasi Ashanti, I have been visiting the schools on Wednesdays, and trying to establish leadership clubs. What I have been doing is discussing the clubs with the headmasters who are very much interested in the club and have assigned teachers to take responsibility for the clubs in their schools. I went to four different schools to visit the clubs, and to my surprise saw some of the teachers organizing the children for the meeting. One of the schools Presby Basic A JHS; containing 60 students, where two teachers were talking to the students on the topic, “ Who Is A Leader “ and “The Qualities Of A Leader”. I saw the children taking down notes on papers, so I went to buy them exercise books and pens. I was so impressed with this initiative , this shows the club has a very bright future over here at Effiduasi and based on this i wish to host this year’s Youth Empowerment Conference at Effiduasi and not Takoradi like in previous years.

PLEASE PRAY FOR:

  • Praise and thank the Lord for opening doors in the school ministry.
  • More volunteers into this ministry.
  • The Lord to give us a pastor for our Tanokrom church.
  • The salvation of the children, that the Lord will draw many by His love to Christ.

Today I visited Nsutem Presbyterian JHS to form the leadership club. I spoke to forms two and one together, I spoke on, “ Who Is A True Leader.” Questions were asked to assess their understanding.
Next week I will know the number of the club members. The headmistress chose a teacher called Mrs Linder to lead the club. I will be meeting the club next week God willing.
Please pray for the teachers the heads have selected for the club, to be honest, truthful, wise, good example and patient.

These schools here are Effiduasi DA, A, B, and C. My wife Comfort and I, went to present 10 literature books, (Beacon Of Light) to each of the schools. It’s a literature book that talks about Hope in difficult times. The government introduced this book two years ago, but have still not sent it yet. The children have to buy it themselves.
Effiduasi DA A is Comfort’s former school.

22nd May 2026
I am in Ashanti Effiduasi, my home town. I came on Wednesday after visiting Ntankoful JHS with Ramat. I took the form two students, while Ramat took the form one.
I came to my home town to be with my mother for a while. About two weeks ago, two of the sub-Chiefs conspired together to attack my mother. They were arrested on their way , and the police found cutlasses and two guns on them. My mother was the number two on their hit list. So my whole family thought it wise for me to go and be with her for some time.
I have decided to start leadership clubs in the schools I visit in Effiduasi. Today I visited Ekuase Presby A JHS school. My message was from Matthew 21:28-32, “ Not Just Hearing, But Doing .” After my message, I form a leadership club with 73 members. The encouraging part of this, is that two of the teachers who were present have decided to help build the club members. There are seven schools in this town I will want to form leadership clubs.
Today Ramat represented me at Crusaders JHS to give motivational message to the form three students who were leaving for the Senior High School in September God willing. Please I will value your prayers that:

  1. God should expose every evil plan of the enemies against her.
  2. God gives wisdom and guidance to plant the leadership clubs in the other six schools.
  3. Praise God for His presence at today’s meetings

I came to Takoradi on Wednesday, after visiting Demo DA JHS in Effiduasi. I set off from Effiduasi about 9:45 pm and arrived in Takoradi about 5:00pm. Half of the journey was on good roads, while the other half were full of pot holes. The previous Wednesday I met with the form Two class and the school schedule the following week for me to meet with the form One class.
I thank the Lord for safe journey to Takoradi. This past Friday I organized a meeting with the leadership clubs. Ramat visited Cobbah Yalley JHS. Esther went to Korsah Complex, but the time she got there it started to rain like cats and dogs. So her meeting with the children was postponed to next week Friday. I formed a new leadership club at Crusaders JHS, so I had to meet with them. Ramat and myself talked on the same topic, “Who Is A Leader?”
The talk was interactive and engaging, allowing participating to actively share their views and ideas. Questions were asked to assess their understanding, such as the qualities they possess that can make good leaders. The session was lively and enjoyable. I made also made the children know that Jesus was the greatest leader, God came on earth, became a man, and served us instead of being served.
Today at church I preached from Acts12:1-12. My topic was, “When The Church Prayed, God Moves”. My preaching was on Four points. 1. There will be times of trials and difficulties. 2. We seek God’s face in prayer 3. Divine intervention 4. The Church could hardly believe the answer.
God willing tomorrow, I am leading the women fellowship.

PRAYER REQUEST:

  1. Please continue to pray for the Lord’s protection and guidance.
  2. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send more volunteers into the school ministry.
  3. Pray for the Lord’s presence and blessing at tomorrow women’s meeting.
  4. Pray that the next Chief of Effiduasi will Love the Lord.
  5. The Lord raise a pastor from the church.

30th April 2026 –
I am still in Ashanti Effiduasi my town. The funeral burial for our chief is over, on the 10 th of May is the thanksgiving service. I know our culture is very complicated.
Today I visited four schools, to meet with the final year students. They are starting their final exams on Monday to Friday. I was with them to encourage and pray with them.
I took my text from Joshua1:9, after explaining the text and applying to their situation, I prayed with them. One of the headmaster is a Baptize pastor, he promised to invite me to preach in his church next month God willing. I am still praying that the Lord will send more volunteers.
