Visit from Hezron Muwowo
We had an encouraging Lord’s Day last Sunday, 4th October, with our Guest Speaker, Hezron Muwowo.
Hezron is a former student of the London Theological Seminary, now living in Newcastle-under-Lyme. He is married with four children and is currently studying part-time for a ThM at the John Owen Centre. He is engaged in itinerant preaching and is looking for the Lord to guide him as he looks for a suitable position in pastoral ministry.
Here are the sermons he preached:
Morning Service – ‘From Doctrine to Doing’
Evening Service – ‘Great is the Lord’
Here are some of his reflections on the day he spent with us –
I enjoyed my time at Kensit Evangelical Church and thanks for the invitation to preach.
It was very encouraging to notice the numbers of new people in the congregation. I met a man who said that that it was his second Sunday at the church. He has moved back into the area with his family and he is looking to settle. I encouraged him to keep coming. I also met a student from Middlesex University who also said it was her second Sunday at the church. In the evening she brought along two fellow students.
After the evening service I had a long conversation with someone who was genuinely seeking the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
